In plain language
Awaking does not require an account or automatically upload your photos, masks, edits, aesthetic ratings, or export results to the developer’s servers.Photo analysis, editing, and export take place on your device. Photo Library access occurs only when you choose the relevant feature and grant permission through iOS, iPadOS, or macOS.
1. Scope and contact
This policy applies to the Awaking app and the website and support pages maintained by the Awaking developer. The official privacy and support contact is yangkj310@gmail.com.
This policy does not control Apple, GitHub, or email service providers when they act independently under their own privacy policies.
2. App data practices
The current release does not require an account and has no third-party analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, or external crash-reporting SDK. Through the app itself, we do not automatically collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, advertising identifiers, or payment credentials.
Awaking processes photos you choose, masks, editing state, ratings, and export results locally to perform the features you request. This content is not automatically uploaded to our servers through use of the app.
3. Photos and iCloud Photos
Awaking requests system permission only when you choose a feature such as import, browse, save, or replace original. With Limited Photos access, the app can read only the items you allow.
If an original exists only in iCloud Photos, Awaking may request it through Apple’s system Photos service after you start the action. That process is governed by Apple and your iCloud settings; it is not an upload to the Awaking developer’s servers. Analysis and editing continue on device after retrieval.
Saving, replacing an original, sharing, or deleting a photo requires an action from you and remains subject to system permission and confirmation flows.
4. Local storage and privacy-safe diagnostics
Awaking may store preferences, drafts and editing state, render caches, verified Pro entitlement status, error codes, occurrence counts, and recovery information on your device to restore work, complete edits, and improve stability.
The app does not upload diagnostics automatically. A recipient receives a support bundle only when you create one, choose a recipient in the system share sheet, and confirm the share. The bundle is designed not to include photo pixels, filenames, absolute paths, account credentials, or original editing content. Review the content and recipient before sending.
5. In-app purchases
Apple processes Awaking Pro purchases through StoreKit. Awaking does not collect or store payment-card numbers, bank-account numbers, or Apple ID credentials. The app reads Apple-verified product and entitlement information to display localized prices, complete purchases, restore eligible purchases, and determine whether Pro features are available.
Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and Apple Account information under its own policies.
6. Image and on-device AI processing
The user-facing core photo analysis, editing, rating, stitching, and export available in the current release run on device. Awaking does not upload photos or editing content to the developer’s servers or remote model services.
If a future release enables accounts, cloud sync, remote AI, or other server-side photo processing, we will update this policy, App Store privacy information, and required notices before enabling the feature. This policy is not advance consent for future data collection.
7. Support communication
When you contact support by email, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to attach. We use it only to respond to, investigate, and resolve your request. Do not send Apple ID passwords, payment-card information, or unrelated original private photos.
8. Website hosting
The Awaking website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub states that a visitor’s IP address is logged and stored for security purposes when a GitHub Pages site is visited; GitHub’s Privacy Statement governs that processing.
The Awaking pages currently do not add our own analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking scripts.
9. Third-party SDKs, analytics, and tracking
Awaking uses software libraries for user interface, image selection, image processing, and local rendering. The current app has no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or external crash-reporting SDK and does not track you across apps or websites.
10. Retention and deletion
Preferences, drafts, editing state, caches, and diagnostic records stay on your device until you remove the relevant content, clear data, or uninstall the app. Content in Photos may also be governed by your Photos and iCloud settings.
Support emails and attachments you choose to send are kept only as long as needed to address the request, perform necessary security review, and meet applicable legal requirements, then removed through the normal cleanup cycle of the mailbox and its backups. You may request deletion of support materials you provided.
11. Your choices and rights
You can change Photos permissions in system settings, remove local drafts or diagnostics in the app, and manage purchases through Apple. For information you send to support, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. We will verify and handle the request as required by applicable law.
12. Children’s privacy
Awaking does not offer accounts or community services directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information to support.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, data practices, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be presented in an appropriate place and consent obtained where required. A new effective date will appear at the top of this page.
