Terms of Service
One card, one confirmation, one delivery.
1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Postcard, you agree to these terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download or use the app.
2. The service
Postcard provides still-photo and Live Photo selection, on-device layout and paper composition, typed and handwritten messages, local drafts, final proofing, saving to Photos, system sharing, Collections, and optional AI Creation after explicit confirmation. AI Creation sends a metadata-free processed copy of the current main image to Postcard’s cloud service and a third-party AI image-generation service only for that generation. Canceling sends no image and uses no AI credit. The app delivers digital postcards; it does not provide physical printing, mailing, accounts, a public community, or developer cloud sync.
3. Your content and rights
You retain your lawful rights in your photos, handwriting, messages, and finished works. You must have the right to select, process, save, and share the content you use. Postcard does not obtain a right to publicly publish your content through these terms.
4. Creative results
AI Creation, layout, color, and text placement are creative assistance and may vary with the source image, network, device resources, system version, or algorithmic limits. Review the photo, text, recipient, date, place, and composition before saving or sharing. Postcard does not guarantee a particular artistic reference or print result.
5. Free delivery and purchases
The first successfully delivered postcard for each App Store identity is free. Claiming the offer or restoring a reservation requires an internet connection. The service keeps only an irreversible identity mapping, entitlement state, delivery fingerprints, and idempotency records; it does not receive ordinary-work images, handwriting, messages, or draft files for this purpose. The offer is used only after Photos confirms a save or the system share completes.
A canceled or failed delivery may retry with the same work. A reservation cannot move to another work, but it does not prevent a separate purchase. Reinstalling Postcard or changing devices does not issue another first-delivery benefit to the same App Store identity. The entitlement record does not restore deleted drafts or finished files. Later new works can be unlocked through Apple in-app purchase at the price shown before confirmation; the same sealed work can be saved or shared again without another charge.
Some Collection works may be non-consumable purchases. Their ownership, restoration, and delivery terms are shown with the work and on Apple’s purchase sheet. Apple handles billing, Ask to Buy, verification, refunds, and billing disputes; an unverified purchase does not unlock content.
6. Local data and backups
Drafts, handwriting, photo copies, delivery state, and sealed-card records are kept in the app sandbox. Device failure, storage cleanup, uninstalling the app, or data corruption can cause local data loss. Save important finished work outside the app promptly.
7. Updates and contact
We may update the app or these terms for security, compatibility, legal requirements, or product improvements. Material changes update the effective date and, where required, are presented to you. Support: yangkj310@gmail.com.
